This was one trip that I was greatly looking forward to ~ 5 Countries, 6 Cities, and 7 Companies to visit in 14 days. We landed in Zurich and headed to Vevey via coach (bus in the USA). Vevey is a quaint little town on Lake Geneva that houses the world headquarters of Nestle. The ride from Zurich to Vevey beautiful with rolling green hills everywhere I looked.
On the way to Vevey, we stopped and toured Château de Chillon – an island castle on Lake Geneva in the city of Montreux. On the first night in Vevey, we had the best Cheese Fondue dinner.
The next day we went to Zermatt and went up to Gonergrat to see Matterhorn. And the next day we visited the headquarters of Nestle. The presentation and informational session were amazing. It was great to know about this global giant and the way they work. It was good to know that Nestle has committed to go completely plastic-free by 2025, considering the fact that they are a global leader in food products and have innumerable products in various countries of the world.
